Haven't a clue how to describe the "vibe" of this particular outfit. Hence my title encompassing a whole bunch of individual descriptors strung together. I just decided I wanted to take a dressy skirt I got at the thrift store awhile back and style it super casual. Also, my feet were giving me grief so I decided, WTH, I'm gonna wear converse sneakers with this otherwise dressy skirt. Finished the casual vibe with a simple white linen tee knotted at the waist and a vintage leather moto jacket.
It wasn't my intention to wear the B&W skull kerchief with this outfit, since I think it really throws it OTT. I had planned on just a simple black headband --but I was having an extreme bad hair day so opted to just cover my whole head and this was an interesting alternative to wearing a hat.
I can definitely see how versatile the embroidered B&W midi will be for summer... and actually prefer it styled more casually. So I see it playing nice with tanks and casual sandals in the future (if the weather is warm enough for cold-blooded me to go that bare). In the meantime my "casual-spin" test run with the skirt helped generate some future styling ideas for it.
