Found another way to wear a band tee!

The pants are faux leather, and the screen print on the tee is a soft metallic gold. The blouse has gold thread throughout, and is sheer. I kept the theme going with a chunky gold necklace and dangling gold/green pendant. I'm really happy that my bangs are long enough that I can still do my swoopy thing

What do you think? Is it too hard edged, or does the blouse soften it up enough?

I love your fun jewelry! The outfit doesn't look too hard edged to me with the feminine details. Can you come over and do my hair sometime.

Fantastic outfit! I really love the gold here, and I don't think it's too hard edged at all. The sheer blouse, the delicate shoes, and the body con pants all make it more feminine.

This is going to maybe sound weird, but the effect of the black with the gold, and the style of the necklaces, makes me think of Ancient Egypt.

I think it's the gold collar that looks faintly Egyptian. I like the gold and black together. The layered necklaces are fun.

Superb. I feel a formula coming on: band tee, topper, super skinnies, booties, big jewelry (I almost said statement jewelry, which it is, but I felt that had the wrong "touch").

Formula hit it in the nose and you're right, I avoid the phrase "statement jewelry" because that's a trend. Nothing wrong with it, but I've been wearing lots of jewelry bordering on gaudy for quite some time, and will continue to long after the trend is gone

Totally dig the spunky high pony and bold jewelry. A nice slouchy band tee and leather pants is a good match I think without the blouse you've got enough softening to keep from being too hard edged; the blouse doesn't strike me as a softening element (even though it's pretty and sparkly and sheer) because it's still black and covered up. If you want it softer still I'd say maybe a fuzzy long cardigan (maybe something heathered) or when it's warmer out roll the tee's sleeves up a bit and let your arms add some lightness.
