I’m wearing my phone pendant today, as a conversation starter – pun intended
I went shopping to the city yesterday, looking for loose-fitting pants and a striped tube skirt. I tried the broken-in linen straights at GAP. The smallest size available gave me, as Ironkurtin would say, polterwanger. No other loose fitting slacks available where I went, I will try online. In retaliation – and to justify my trip – I bought an undisclosed number of tube skirts (ok, 4), one casual dress and a linen navy draped moto (for future posts). I could not find a striped skirt to my liking, but found this beauty at The Rack. I might or might not have bought the same cobalt skirt as Janet as well. Shhhh...
I had to go to Target to exchange some Tees for DH. I thought I’d never buy from Target again since my consignment store does not take their brands, but this 100% cotton sporty mesh top won me over (and one skirt. and the casual dress). A matching-color tank was too bright under the mesh, calling too much attention to itself, major grinning, but a cobalt one worked well, I think.
This is a newish silhouette for me. I’m liking this length, covering the knee-cap, Does it look ok for my height? (5’ 4”ish) And, I’m surrendering my waist, but revealing my backside Does it still look “decent”? The skirt is fully lined. (hoping the pattern distracts from too much definition, next size up was too big in the waist and too long)
Top: Mossimo (Target)
Skirt: Matty M Tribal/Hawaiian print (Nordstrom Rack)
Sandals: Nine West
Pendant: don’t remember
