To all my Vince Camuto Tube Skirt Sisters, I love this skirt, both the wide-striped one and the red one, because it feels so good to wear and I know that this will be a delightful travel skirt. In fact, I'm taking it with me this weekend to the hot, hot, hot desert.

I must also add that I LOVE my new Vince boatneck tee, and Jenava was right, it already has become a workhorse, so, thank goodness, I bought one in black AND white. Love, love love.

Before I give a few brief details on the photos, I am also adding a Valentine to Angie, my #1 inspiration and our amazing fashion guide! In photos 8 and 9, I'm posting a citron blouse I paired with my new red Vince Camuto tube skirt to recreate Angie's outfit from several years ago (with the gold pumps and satchel bag in NYC) which I thought was so beautiful.

One thing I must add about these photos is that I feel more comfortable in the "heeled" versions and less comfortable in the "casual" versions and I think this is where my personal challenge lies. I think I need to push my own personal comfort zone here and I'm not sure I'm "in the zone" yet, and as though something is off. Any suggestions are always welcome.

1 Black Vince boatneck tee, Vince Camuto tube skirt, Lilly Pulitzer nude kitten heel slingbacks, aqua clutch, silver beaded necklace.

2 Cobalt blue oversized (seems big to me!) shirt, blush Mercanti Fiorentini oxfords.

3 White Vince boatneck tee, Zara yellow sweater, VC tube skirt, Cole Haan two-toned oxfords.

4 Gap blue oversized top, same skirt, very old yellow Ferragamo loafers (this is my least favorite, as I self-edit myself here).

5 Plum button-down H&M shirt (I love this and wore a blush-colored one on the set a few weeks back), Sam Edelman Okala pumps (also love these!).

6 Black and white print F21 top to "simulate" the DvF one Angie posted, red Vince Camuto tube skirt, SE Okala pumps.

7 Topshop LOVE sweatshirt, red VC tube skirt, SE Okala pumps.

8-9 Citron button-down F21 top, red VC tube skirt, nude Lilly Pulitzer Kat kitten heels.

These are wonderful skirts and I know I will enjoy wearing them throughout the four seasons we have here in Southern California. Adding black tights and the now-popular black boots will be something I'll play with in the cooler days ahead. Thank you for looking here!

Vicki, oh my heavens, my fuchsia crash helmet is no protection any more. You have worn it right out! What will I do? These are sensational looks, every single one of them! You just knocked it totally out of the ballpark with these!! Wow!! I honestly cannot pick a favourite. Every one is perfect.

I am so thrilled to be your skirt twin. And I want that Topshop sweater! SO FAB!!

As for your idea for a challenge -- that would be incredible.

ETA: After rereading my original post, and careful consideration, I decided to toss the challenge idea. So, if some of these comments on the thread seem out of context or make reference to that, this is why. We'll come up with something else that will be fun.

I love the idea of an Angie copycat thread although I personally don't think I have anything to copy her with - lol!

I think that would be a good idea, Vicki. We'd have to set a time and such.

Also -- I am unsure how comfortable Angie would feel with it. So it might be a good idea to run it past her first? I know she's modest -- and also her goal is to encourage each of us in our OWN style -- not to copy hers or be clones.

But I think if we set the right parameters, this wouldn't be a contradiction in terms.

Maybe not a "copycat" thread so much as a "how she's inspired me" thread. Some outfits might be direct copies, and some would be very associative.

It would be most fascinating of all to see those outfits, I'd imagine. And it would allow more people to feel included. Because some might feel that if they had a different colouring or body type or style persona, they couldn't join in. This way, everyone could "play" and we could all learn from one another.

Totally inspiring - I am trying to figure out the proportions on me, and notice this skirt falls much longer on me than on you, although I can pull it up and down a bit. You are so good at posing!

So adorable on you, Vicki! I just love your fun printed tops, too. For work I feel much more mentally comfy in heels, too, a fact which is at odds with my feet. Will be checking to see how you do with this, as I need to take notes!

Now, did I miss which fashion magazine these photos come from? Not only do you look magnificent (and it would be impossible to pick a favorite), but you look at ease and as though you are enjoying your clothes.

OMG! I die! You are too fab for words, Vicki! I love all your outfits, but 5 & 6 are simply out of this world! You look great in graphic red, black and white.

We are twins--I also bought the red skirt. And I ordered the Okala pumps too..I wasn't sure if I should keep them since the heels are spiky, but your outfits are so inspirational I'm reconsidering! Love your great poses and smiles too!

I love the idea of an Angie coypcat thread. In fact I think there should be another challenge for everyone to copy another YLF'er....that would be fun too!

Super fab, the whole lot of them! I love #3 (so fun with the coordinating oxfords) and #7 (the unexpected juxtaposition with the sweatshirt and the tube skirt is fantastic) the most.

All are stunning, and you're showing your skillful eye in the way you've styled these skirts! 1, 6, 7, and 8 are my faves. Do you own any D'orsay or slightly pointed toe slipper flats? I think they'd look great with this kind of skirt, too!

Very - Very Nice! After seeing one of these pics on FB, I was hoping that you would post these! They are really great Vicki. I am just amazed that you are able to wear bold and graphic colors/patterns (black,white), sour colors (citron, red), cool colors (blue) and soft colors (yellow.) Makes me envious of your coloring - cuz' I want to wear all those colors too, but some of them look so awful on me that I just can't (throwing mild temper-tantrum right now.) Also, I'm loving the boat-neck top on you - another type of neckline that I can't wear (dang it!) You're killing me! But, anyway that boat-neck top looks lovely on you. Also, you got the Topshop LOVE top!!!!! Where did you find it? I have been lusting after it for over a month - but everywhere I look it is sold out! I want it - even though I don't look all that great in black and white. It is just so much fun! All of these are just spectacular on you - and you know, your flats look really good in these pics - I think that as long as you wear them with confidence with the skirt, that you'll look just fine! Vicki, you have outdone yourself this time - wow, wow, wow! That VC skirt was meant for you (and many others here on YLF) and the way you've styled it is brilliant in every way. Every piece here you've shown is fabulous. So fun, colorful and vibrant but totally not "trendy" to me - just classic beauty in every single way. I am in awe. You look incredible!
