I've had this sweater dress for about 4 or 5 years now. It's in great shape with no pills, pulls, snags, or whatever else happens to sweaters, and I love the argyle pattern on it so I just keep wearing it.

Pic 1 is how I wore it last Thursday, and pic 2 is how I wore it in 2013. I've worn it many, many more times but that was the only pic I could find. I was definitely maximal when I wore it back in 2013! I like it with the red tights and booties, but not the belt. I prefer it with black tights because they make the dress look longer.

Love the dress! I'm another big fan of Argyle. I prefer #1 too. The simple styling with black tights makes the outfit a lot classier and elegant.

Heh. I want everything to be like that. Yes, I have many favourite items, some of which have been around for 10 years or more. I try to buy for that kind of long service.

It's a lovely dress. I think I prefer it without the belt. Have you tried it over skinny jeans?

Approprio, I have also been trying to buy items that will go the distance. I haven't tried it over skinny jeans as I like tunics over jeans, but not dresses. I might try it over a pair of skinny knit pants, though.

Staysfit and Maneera, I love classic patterns and probably for that reason - they don't date easily.

Go JCP for making a pill-free dress that stands up to multiple wears. This is what you expect from a brand like Eileen Fisher, so I'm impressed. I like it both ways, the 2013 is sassy while the 2016 is more understated. Both look stunning on you.
