We have had mixed weather these days, but today was hot hot hot and I jumped at the opportunity to wear:

• a) one of my few, but instant favourite summer purchases - lightweight cotton red shirt with white polkadots;
• b) one of my all-time favourite clothing items - full white linen shirt;
• c) a gift from my sister - new espadrilles. Red. I almost fainted when I opened the box.

Photo taken after I had spent about two hours in total cycling around on a hot day, so the hair is no longer at its best. Otherwise, the whole thing worked perfectly and is typical of what I wore the whole summer - the formula(s) which I'll happily recycle next year too.
