Looking for style inspiration to help me in wearing the heck out of my clothes, I turned to Angie's ensemble posts. I figure even if the ensemble is a year or more old, the colour combinations and ideas can still be executed but with modern pieces. Plus I'm noticing that style trends (at least some of them) are sticking around for two or three years before starting to fade.

Today's outfit is based on Angie's Combat Pants, White Top and Red Accents ensemble. I started with my dark olive cargo pants and paired those with my white v-neck drapey sleeveless tee. I topped that with my dark red asymmetrical merino wool cardigan (sleeves scrunched) and then added my red booties for another pop of red. Even though the red of the cardigan and booties don't match, they're far enough apart on the body that it doesn't bother me in the least. Besides, I like the slightly different tones in the same outfit.

I chose my taupe/cream/gold snakeskin clutch (gift from Sona - who I miss like crazy!), red specs, gold watch and chunky gold ring and red lipstick to finish off the outfit.

Thoughts on this outfit? All comments/suggestions welcome.

I had a blast combing through Angie's ensemble posts last night and am continuing to find new ways to wear old things. Thank you Angie
