This was a brave ensemble for me. But given my confidence in Angie's recommendations for inverted triangles and bootcut pants I decided to give these a try.
They were on sale at Lands End for $9, so I figured it wasn't much money to spend to see if a trend would suit me.
Because my contrast has shifted from high to low, I added the olive scarf to reduce the contrast on my face from black for the street.
Those of you sweltering in the summer heat may have a hard time looking at this, but it's 60 degrees and foggy today in SF so a) I wanted the warmth and b) I wanted the color as a pick me up. I also pushed up the eye makeup but made the lip neutral. I included a headshot for a closeup.
