Today is Chinese New Year, so I wanted to wear red for good luck. My wardrobe is actually surprisingly short of true red (although I have a bunch of burgundy). This thin sweater fits the bill but requires multiple layers to be weather appropriate. Here, I have layered it over a Uniqlo heattech tee (black with small grey polka dots) and under a long, drapey black cardigan. On top I have popped my black and white printed scarf. All the layers are nice and toasty (along with my BR martin pants and the Blondo boots), which is good as we are going for dinner to my in-laws' house, which is always freezing. Last photo is the indoor dinner version, because no shoes in the house. Had to dig through the sock bin to find my red socks!
