I was excited when Angie posted this because red and brown feature prominately in my limited wardrobe! Just yesterday I received a new brown sweater. Here is a simple outfit that I wore to my haircut appointment today (what do you think about the hair? I went short again.)

I have a no name small, deep red crossbody bag and some new dark brown leather gloves too, so I can toss those on with my red coat when I leave today.

I'm starting to feel like I can do this. lol. I went to a consignment store yesterday and found an Eileen Fisher merino shell (new with tags) and a pair of Pendleton charcoal wool trousers. I needed the shell to put under an orphaned short beaded cardigan and I was looking for wool pants for warmth during the winter. The charcoal goes well with my dark brown stuff, including my dark brown Courtney Fryes. I've been working with a small rotation for a few months and now I feel like I have many more combinations.
