Good Monday guys!
Here is my outfit for Sunday's festivities which included brunch w a dear friend to celebrate her new job.
A couple factors played into how this came together. First, this blouse is quite loose and flowy and I felt it needed reigning in a bit to give me some waist definition. Second, I have to wear a belt w all my pants but don't have a lot of belt options since they are typically functional and never seen. Third, I really wanted to wear my nude for me flats which happily were close enough in color to the necessary belt that it looked more intentional.
When I saw this sheer purple blouse with pin tuck pleats, there was no question I'd get it bc purple is my favorite color. I was not thrilled w the way it looked untucked so I'm hoping tucking will work. This was an on the fly decision. Looking at the pictures I'm not sure it's the best look. Perhaps darker neutral belt and shoes would have been better? What do you guys think? My dark belt options include a black double hole canvas one and a black one covered in rhinestones. The brown seemed like the only option. Perhaps I need more belts.
The bracelet is seed beads w a wood clasp that I adore. Earrings are gold w amber glass. Blouse and trousers are both Torrid this season. Pointy Flats are BP, Nordstrom.
My ever present baby guy was being held by Daddy.
If the baby takes his 2nd nap later perhaps I'll get to post today's look as well.
