Went to Yorktown, VA on Friday to attend our younger son's short promotion ceremony to lieutenant in the US Coast Guard. As he did not invite us to his 2 previous promotions since the 2020 academy graduation (exactly 4 yrs ago today - in our family room) I wasn't sure what to expect. Called it exactly right, wardrobe-wise. it was a cool, cloudy day so I needed the jacket.
Pulled out these Sofft Innis sandals in cork, (these are sandals I have multiples of, and just added gold metallic at the suggestion of many Fabbers for a dress I needed help styling!) and my custom-made cork and navy tote. I was very comfortable in the navy BR tencel joggers, and a cropped Max Studio knit moto from a few years ago.
Yesterday it rained all day. I've been experimenting with letting my hair dry naturally at this longer length. I can only do it on very humid days, or it is not curly, just frizzy.
