Well, I finished the week on a not so strong note in one way. #2The yellow brocade print skirt just felt a little too summery for this cool and cloudy day. It was a comfy outfit otherwise, and I wasn't cold. Wearing the knit top with the sweater was just the right amount of layering. The bare legs didn't bother me either. My favorite part: I'm really beginning to love these shoes. Sling backs work well for me whereas loafers or slip ons rarely do. And these have thick leather and closed toes making them a fair loafer substitute, are easy to walk in, and feel very nice and smooth on the inside.

Looking back to #1, Thursday I paired a true summer workhorse, the linen coral floral, with a light 3/4 sleeve sweater, which I bought since I loved the color and weight, but really with nothing in mind to match. I suppose it would be fine with black slacks and a black tweedish blazer, but really like this much better. The belt and brown leather sandals make it feel more transitional than summery.

Next week- dresses - that might be a terrible stretch. I have 3 black knit dresses, one black and white striped dress, one cobalt and black zebra print dress, and one rosy mottled print dress. All sleeveless. HMMM. Not sure the ideas will work, but a creative challenge for sure!

Thanks for looking, comments and suggestions always welcome.
