We had guests and took them out to see the sights. I had to deal with standing outside in the sun, and cruising an air-conditioned museum. A challenging range of temperatures, even without the crazy shift in weather we got. I got hot - and sunburnt on my exposed back, because this top is a scoop-neck back to front one - outside and rather chilly inside. My favourite summer scarf came to the rescue. It's gauzy, can be worn as a shawl (like here) or folded/scrunched to a narrow rectangle and looped or tied, and the colours seem to go with almost everything I can throw at it, short of clashing prints.

Unfortunately, the brighter light makes the pudginess a bit more obvious. More body shrinkage is called for. ;o) The sunglasses are not a fashion statement...

You can't see them well in the pictures, but the earrings are vintage, hand-me-downs from my grandmother a good forty years ago. I'll try to do a feature photo some time in the future. Yes, I'm an earrings gal.
