What a great outfit! I love the details on the blazer and the shorter sleeve length. I think the red shoes add a great pop.

It would be interesting to change up the colour of the shirt and shoes. I'm not super familiar with your style (and I'm also very new to this), but what about a pale pink t-shirt with a dusty/dusky pink flat?

K, you need a crash helmet too, perhaps

Joy, it's interesting, isn't it? I also learn that I'm a lot better at finding pieces that work for me in thrift stores now than I used to. I think it is because I've learned so much more about fashion.

Day Vies, please don't fall!
Thank you, Siniestra, Beth and Frecles! I think I'll find it very useful and fun this Spring.

Denise, thank you! Preppy is quite popular where I live, but is tied to certain walks of life, or their wannabe's. Some of my students refer to preppy as "the beige people". I've always liked a little preppy, but I feel that this style is so closely tied to the original prep's lifestyle that one should be a little careful of not overdoing it. A very conservative style is not for me, at all. It gets stuffy really fast, particularly when you're not young anymore.

Stephabee, thanks! I will definitely try to replace the shirt and shoes with something else. I own very little pink, but orange, green and nude comes to mind as possible colors to try, too.
