Prior to YLF, I had a very neutral color pallette, lots of greys, blacks, beige, tan. They are still a staple in my closet for sure, but I've been trying to look for more colorful cardigans, skirts and blouses. These outfits are still not a color explosion for sure, but hopefully a little less bland.
1/2. Loft orange/reddish skirt, Loft sleeveless shell, Ann Taylor cardigan
Pre-YLF I would not have even looked at this skirt. I love the color, but it might be a little short for work? I kept fiddling with it and pulling it down while I was talking to patients. Maybe being too self-conscious?
2. Express purple printed blouse, NY and Company pants
The blouse was a gift from my sister. I'm not usually a pattern person, but I guess my sister thinks I am
3. Old blouse (can't remember where I got it from), Gap pants.
This whole outfit just is off somehow to me. The pants are regular length cropped pants. I bought the pants thinking they would work as straight leg pants but I don't know about the fit. They are pretty loose in the crotch area and then taper down at the ankle. Are they ok or should I get rid of them?
4. JJill silk shirt, Express Columnist pinstripe pants
I love these pants! They give the impression of long legs (at least to me). I added the necklace at the last minute. Too matchy?
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions, as always, are welcome!!
