I’m really loving dressing in more Casual clothes everyday. It reduces my options, which makes or easier to get dressed, and I can go for a walk put do a workout between meetings.

I love a good uniform; this one is easy and practical, and I think the proportions are right to make it flattering.
Pants : Lululemon On The Fly
Bomber: Lululemon On Repeat Bomber
Shirt: old joe fresh
Shoes: Ecco Oxfords (that feel like sneakers but look a little dressier to my eye)

This is a great WFH look. I agree that it’s very flattering! Comfort and easy care is a must for WFH because you never know when your dog is going to want to go out and play!

Aren’t those OTF bottoms versatile? I treat mine (black) like a dress pant! It’s the light silky feel of them. I would love to have a pair in a heavier weight fabrIc, but I don’t think such a thing exists.

Great casual style — I love how pulled together you always look.

I’m tempted to try those OTF pants, now that it’s warming up and jeans will be off my radar until October. I was just looking at the full-length version on the web, and I *think* I need an 8, what I usually take in LL. Is your experience that they’re true to size?

Guys - I LOVE these pants. I bought them last year after I saw all the ways Carla wore them! I now have three pair (all bought last year and going strong.)

What I love most is the fit - they are skimming and tailored, but absolutely not skin tight. The ease all the way through is what makes them modern to my eye. They are mid rise, can be cuffed, and can be worn equally well with dress tops and T shirts (see all of Carla’s looks!)

They are MAGIC pants. Perfectly proportioned, and they somehow work with everything - Tucked or untucked tops, sneakers or heels. They are just so easy.

They are stretchy but substantial (not see through or flimsy at all) - perfect for spring and early summer or fall. (Like Carla said, I wish they made a Heavier winter weight version!)

Janet - they fit true to size in my experience. I am 5’4”, ~125 lbs, and I take a 6 and it is perfect.

If buying online - look at the reviews. Some versions have great reviews (the ones I have above are the standard On The Fly) but there are other versions (woven, etc) that don’t have such great reviews.)

I love my OTF too , although I think of mine as winter pants . I do have a pair in the cropped length which I do wear in summer . And to Janet’s question , I find them TTS as well and wear an 8 . They are straight -cut through the hips though , so keep that in mind . I'm right inbetween Carla and Roxanna in height and way heavier than both in weight - lol. You might need a 10 for leg length?

@Janet - I’m 5ft 7in and 135lbs. Waist 30 in, hips 38 in and I wear an 8.

Great uniform! I love that bomber! Immediately checked it out online but the EU site seems to only have it in black - no good for me.

I like the colour of the first outfit - would you say it's a warm chocolate brown or a cooler olive? It reads as in-between to me, on my screen.

Either way, it's a pretty uniform - I like to do this 'column of outer colour' with a longer cardigan & ankle cuffed pants instead, so it's nice to see how others tweak this to suit their body shapes

Play uniform! You rock this, and short toppers look great on you. I especially love the blue OTF pants and lighter jacket, but the other colors look great, too. It’s such a stylish, YOU version of play clothes.

Just wanted to acknowledge the sizing info — Thanks for sharing, Carla, Roxanna and Lisa! Carla, we are the same height and same waist, but I have about 15 lbs on you, and distributed in the boobs and hips/thighs. I wonder if I should go up to a 10 in these, even though I have 6s and 8s from LLL that fit me. Gah, I hate not being able to try on in store!

I’ll second what Lisap says about the straight fit through the hips. I just measured the pants through the hips about one inch above the crotch. Laid flat they are 23in across. They are a tad fuller through the rear than the front, so when flat the seams are at the sides but both facing front. I measured side to side - regardless of where the seams fell. The thigh measured one inch below the crotch is 11 1/2 across - again, regardless of where the seam falls.

@suntiger - I am VERY pear shaped and I find them great - probably because of the elasticize waist and stretchy fabric. But if you are in between sizes, I would go with the higher size so they don’t pull at the hips...

@Angie - really?! I have always thought I was HUGELY pear shaped (more like a butternut squash actually!) of my measurements are 35 bust - 28 smallest part of waist - 39 widest part of hips, doesn’t that make me very pear shaped?

Not actually, Roxanna! Remember to take shoulder width into account. You are only slightly fuller on the bottom compared to the width up top. More hourglass-y, and only hinting very slightly to pear shaped

I have clients who have a 3 to 4 size difference between their tops and bottoms. Size US4/6 on top and Size US12/14 on the bottom. That is very pear shaped.

I suspect you are a one size difference?

Huh . Thanks for the perspective Angie. I am a 2/4 up top and a 6/8 on the bottom, so you are right - not as much difference as some of your clients (or my mom or grandmother, though when I gain weight that difference grows since I gain on my bottom.)

But that it’s very interesting to me, Angie - I have thought my whole life that I was drastically pear shaped and have avoided so many looks because of it... maybe I need to re-evaluate. Maybe I was projecting my mom onto myself. Isn’t it interesting how we see ourselves?

There you go, Roxanna! One size difference, and that really depends on the cut of the bottoms.

Yes, we can see ourselves very differently to how others see us. Especially if we were told we looked a certain way when we were growing up by those who had a LOT of influence over our psyches - like our Mothers! The thoughts stick, and we have to be VERY conscious of what is the objective truth, and not a comparison that skews the truth.

YES. You should re-evaluate what an hourglass looks best in! Intuitively, you are doing that, so please carry on
