happy friday everyone! I woke to a 36 degree morning & thought it was the perfect day for my big fluffy hat! It is super warm and actually really fun to wear as I get lots of smiles and comments when I wear it.

Today was classic inspired & casual fall. Ive been enjoying seeing all of your plaid outfits & thought id build off this plaid top. I've been battling bronchitis for the last 6 weeks & pretty much have been wearing the most comfy things I can.

I wanted a lighter color to brighten the dark boots & pants, & so I looked for an ivory sweater. the first one I tried was a thin vintage merino v-neck, but it didn't drape well over the flannel plaid, so I found a thicker, looser sweater that layered much better. My rugged Sebago boots are awesome, they are waterproof & the lug sole is perfectly solid.

Shirt: Woolrich Classic plaid
Pants: NYDJ leather trim ponte
Boots: Sebago Tall

Bonus shot of me bundled for the morning commute! The 30s is cold for us here, I empathize with all you who live where the winters are frigid for so long! Brr. Most of my winter coats are dark, so I like to have lighter/brighter accessories

Hat: Vintage Norwegian Fox, from Canada (cause they know cold!)
scarf: Light blue pashmina/silk
Coat: Lands End Down Commuter

Thanks for looking!
