I have worn it several times and while I loved this look on other women, I am not exactly sure about it on me. I never thought of that before but maybe pinstripes are too masculine for my taste. It didn't help matters that DH(whose opinions about my clothes I usually ignore), commented that "it looks like something a guy would wear" nor the fact that I ran into a guy wearing almost exact same shirt on the way to work.
I have been feeling that with my short hair its too androgynous and I am not a fan of that look. I need honest opinions, please:((

Well, I love this look, and I think it looks terrific on you, but I definitely go for the androgynous thing. I think that the jewelry definitely feminizes the look quite a bit. But if you're not feeling it, you should go with your gut.

You and your husband are too funny ("looks like something a guy would wear" and "whose opinions I usually ignore...").

I like this look on you, but then again I like androgyny. If you want to make it more feminine, how about a patent belt? Guys don't wear patent, at least my bf wouldn't be caught dead in it. Also, you could add a bright colorful bag and/or strappy sandals. These touches would ensure no one would confuse you with a guy, if that's what you're thinking. (Not that anyone could, your face and neck are super feminine.)

Like Sarah and Denise, I also like a good androgynous look. I think you look fab in this combination but if you don't feel good in it or it's not to your personal taste, I'd move on. FWIW, I don't think you look masculine - your features are delicate and your jewelry is feminine.

I dig androgyny as well, but you must feel comfortable! I won't cut my hair super short for now because I like wearing such masculine outfits. I like the ideas above for feminine accessories - maybe a colorful belt? Big, statement necklace or earrings?

I'm jumping on the band wagon Victoria - I really like this look on you as well!
Great suggestions already given about feminizing the look - how about a semi-tuck for the blouse - as well as a lighter colour pant?

I am a big fan of androgynous look. I dont think you should give up on this. Try adding more feminine elements like others have said. I personally think you look super cute.

I love to see delicate featured women in masculine looks -- perhaps for the contrast it gives. Try adding more color, perhaps, to up your comfort level?

I love this look Victoria! Yes, it is androgynous, but you pull it of very well. Believe it or not, I wore almost identical outfit today and felt pretty good about it (please excuse the rumpled shirt at the end of the day). So we are twins

I think it is very cute on you and doubt that you could look anything other than feminine in anything you wear. That being said, if you amp the look with a sexier belt or shoes that would be great too!

Wow, I think you look stunning in this, Victoria, but I do like a bit of androgyny, so perhaps my opinion doesn't count for much! To my eye you are super feminine - maybe even MORE feminine in the masculine shirt!

and for all the ladies who suggested semituck-unfortunately, this shirt is rather fitted so semituck won't work for it.
I am also thinking about wearing several white ropes of large pearls that I have to make it more feminine. Thanks for suggestions, everyone:)

If it doesn't feel feminine enough to you, I would echo the suggestions of switching out your dark black belt for something a bit more fun ... patent, say, or any color but brown. Accessories will go a long way towards making this outfit more feminine; what about a pearl necklace or that turquoise strand you wore last month? And a colorful handbag would work to feminize (is that a word?) the outfit too

I agree with everyone else that this looks really great on you! You have gotten some great suggestions. I think this looks fab as-is, but I love your idea of lots of pearls with it.

Actually I really like this outfit on you. Yes, a man could wear a version of this outfit, but you are not shaped like a man. A woman in fitted menswear inspired clothing is always chic. I think your jewelry is just the right finishing touch. You could go with colorful accessories instead as others have suggested but that would just be a different and equally attractive look.

Looks super!! May be a masculine look, but the fitted shirt shows a very feminine shape. Then add your very delicate features and short hair or not, no one is going to mistake you for a boy.

You look great! Is this the Banana Republic shirt? I think I have the same one. I think you look very feminine in it already with your makeup and earrings but a pile of pearls certainly would add the extra touch!

i was going to suggest ropes of something to feminize it. I also struggle with liking shirts and not, because it is almost too stiff and formal. But I wore mine yesterday also, but I put a tshirt under that had a bit of sparkle and let the front be unbuttoned to show. BF loved it. So the sparkle added a feminine touch. I also wear it sometimes with a rope of pearls and have an idea to take a very pretty scarf, twist it into a very tight rope and wrap that over the shirt. I must try it soon.

Forgot to mention this yesterday: LOVE the haircut. Seriously.

It really plays up your delicate feminine features. Emma Watson can pull off her really short 'do, for the same reason: delicate, feminine features.

I think you look fantastic. I like this look though. I agree maybe some pearls or some bright accessories/lipstick might make you feel different but even though you look amazing if it doesn't feel good to you, move on.
