It is supposed to be spring but snowed yesterday so it is hard to feel like wearing spring clothes so I wore fall/winter stuff but tried a bit of pattern mixing to add interest. I will preface this by saying I am quite conservative in my mixing of color and pattern. I love color but don't usually mix them up much so this is a bit out there for me.

I wore plaid wide leg pants and added an abstract twist front top. They both have teal and black but the pants have greys and the top taupes and a bit of gold. I wanted to wear a jacket since it is cold. I had my black blazer on but then decided to wear my rose gold watch so switched to the wool moto for the zipper detail to tie in with the watch. I also debated between the black booties and my dark green booties and went with black to bookend the jacket. I added a close up of the patterns since it is hard to see in the full body shot.

What do you think? Pattern mixing miss or passes muster?
