Today was the day for the houndstooth skinnies I mentioned yesterday that I hardly wear. I gave it some thought and I think that the reason I don't wear these too often is that they are a bit RATE for me - the black/grey wash is kind of roughed up and the pattern doesn't line up. This was definitely an impulse purchase and PPP violation. Buuuut I still kinda love them so I am going to try a few outfits! Plus they were full price...
So here's WIW:
Houndstooth Skinnies - Guess
Cream and Black Lace Print Tank - Dynamite
Burgundy Sweater - Gap
Pointy Flats - Aldo
Floral Scarf - Rickis
It wasn't my intention for the tank to peek out, but it did and I kind of like it, so I'm going with it. I wanted to balance out the RATE-ish pants and easy sweater with more refined footwear, so I chose my trusty pointed flats. I wonder if pointy pumps would work here?
What do you think? Do I still look like me in this? Suggestions and comments are welcome.
