Such a great range of looks, Sal. They all look good, and as others have said, 2 and 4 are terrific! I love the culottes and tall boots.
My initial thought was to add a scarf to #1 - but that just may be that I love scarves. I like the red jacket, was it difficult to have the collar altered? It's obviously practical for your work, too.
I had to laugh at the description of what your boys wore to the movies. Very sensible that you look after their parts of the household clothing budget and wardrobe space!

Helen - how nice to see you. I took the jacket to a good shoe repair shop who recommended a dressmaker, who then put me in touch with a specialist leather clothing shop (she does lots of motorbike leather repairs). Previously the jacket had a standard collar - and while I rarely wear a shirt with a collar, I felt it fought with scarves. Anyway it cost $65 but she did a great job - I think a heavy duty machine would be needed.

I just looked at outfit #2 (which is totally awesome btw, repeat often) and got the really strong urge to buy myself a pair of flares - like, right now.

Sal, that sounds a very reasonable price to customise your jacket. I hope it's a workhorse for you now!
