Yesterday, I made a 12-step meeting and ran some errands with my DH's 12-step sponsor (who is also a dear family friend). We obviously need adult supervision, as displayed in Exhibits 1 and 2 (pics)
I went with a favorite color combination: navy and black. Navy Vince top (total thrifted treasure, a whopping 99 cents I paid), pale silver-grey AG jeans, my thrift shop treasure Celine bag, and that thrift shop find, black full length Bill Blass wool & cashmere coat, with my OTK boots (find)
I've included bonus pics of some really interesting garments spotted at the big-box store (the blue one from Arkansas whose name I shan't mention). Because really? Who wants a onesie that looks like a baboon, complete with bare pink buttcheeks? And who put a fair isle sweater into a blender with Christmas tinsel and a stuffed unicorn?
The pink bunny onesie from that "you'll shoot your eye out" Christmas movie, though; if they'd had it in my size it would be hanging in my closet right now. Because obviously (I told you I need adult supervision :-D)
