KILLER YOU Xmas look, and gross tea bag story

Great look, Rachy! That tea bag story is epic. It will live on through generations.

The tea bag story really is up there, legendary! Lol!

Wow! It looks really good on you! So glad you got it.

How can you make a suit like this look so chic?!?

Wow, this is Christmas perfection. It looks very Gucci.

I’m glad I got it too. I think I’ll wear it again tonight for my visiting brother, hehe.

Lol Cardiff Girl.

And did you say Gucci, Bijou? I didn’t think of that. Gucci Gucci Gucci! Y’all know in the New World Order, I’ll be a Citizen of Gucci!

Eeeuw, the tea story!!

But in that suit, you will NEVER be weak and washed out! It's brilliant on you. Love the footwear, too.

I wonder if anyone mistook Rachy for a Christmas ornament and tried to put her back on the tree ?

I’ve heard of trying to get getting three cups of tea from one bag, but twelve?! That’s quite a story!

You carry off your wrapping paper suit with panache. I think someone else used that word, too, and it’s exactly what popped into my head when I saw your picture.

That suit is gorgeous and so cute. With that shirt and shoes, you captured the occasion well.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to wear!

Your post caught my attention, as I own several Christmas OppoSuits myself (featured in future WIW posts). Festive and dressy, appropriate for both work and going out afterwards. The red shirt looks Christmasy and the black scarf looks wintry.

How comfortable are those shoes to walk in for long periods of time? I've been thinking about getting some brogues myself (I don't own any), instead of bringing a change of shoes to some of these Christmas events we have gone to. I've seen more Christmas parades than I've ever seen in one season (not complaining, I enjoyed all of them), he just likes to walk around the town before or after and look at the windows the businesses decorate, and since you are wearing them, I have to ask how comfortable you think they are fora lot of walking.

What is the brand name of the shoes? I'd like to look them up. They look great on you with the suit.

Also, have you had that suit for a while? I cannot find that style on the OppoSuits website. Discontinued style, maybe??

I got the suit this past Xmas. The shoes are old Rachel Comey. I have another pair of heeled patent brogues by Jeffrey Campbell, I think. This style I found useful working on a very large campus with people who liked to walk to go get lunch. They were good for dancing at the office party this year. I wouldn’t say, tho, that they were up to all-day tourist walking... an afternoon at the museum yes, but not, you know strike out at 8 am and come back at midnight, having hit up every museum, church, outdoor market and night food truck in between.

Sounds as though they are a little more comfortable than other types of dress shoes, but certainly not a sneaker, in your opinion. I was wondering that, but interesting to hear a real life opinion. I can do a fair amount of walking in dress shoes, including heels. I wear them all day at work, but I'm sitting a lot, too, and not walking continuously. And I am on carpet most of the time. My feet bother me very little. Just that when we go to a parade, my boyfriend likes to walk all over town for as much as two hours, all on concrete, so I bring tennis shoes for that so I don't tear up my feet for the rest of the date. Sounds like the change of shoes is still the best option.

Superbe look Rachylou j'adore heureux de te revoir.
