Hello everyone,
I wish so badly to participate more with WIWs, but that is quite tricky. Taking a decent photo takes several attempts anyway, and the time when I'm ready for the photo-shoot usually overlaps with the time someone is calling me to hurry up, so I simply have to skip some pleasures.
But, I managed to snap one outfit today and I'm sharing it. It's nothing revolutionary, but is what I feel good in and need style-wise right now. It is practical, so I can move freely and without fears of exposures of any sort, with a bit of jazzing up, to reflect I do enjoy and put some thought in the process of getting dressed.
The formula is simple: (the ubiquitous) skinnies + top + scarf + chunky bracelet.
We've had slight overcast today, so 3/4 sleeves were the right choice. I've added the lightweight scarf on the same color (same brand, same season, this is my unexpected "twin set") with white trimmings which nicely break up the solid color. The kind of bracelet I'm wearing is what I find MOTG's best friend - chunky, not loose, dangly and don't get in the way, plus they can even be a toy/construction element when you need to buy yourself a few seconds of piece and quiet when you're out and about.
I love my new oxfords so much that I only don't wear them when the weather is too hot. My reliable cross body bag has proved to be worth its weight in gold - it is the right size, not too big to tempt me to overload it and lug things around, but not too small so the necessities fit in very nicely.
Thanks for stopping by
