Hello YLF,

I missed you all during my vacations but at the same time there were many things in my traveling wardrobe that reminded me of you.We haven't downloaded much of the photos but just wanted to share a few moments/outfits.DH really tried to take good pictures of the two of us but we were always wandering from place to place.
Before the pictures can I just say that Canada is beautiful?

1. Old wrap dress to visit the lock lift at Peterborough.
2.New colorblock dress, leggings and hat (can you tell that it has polkadots?) and...Angie recommended sandals. This one was taken at Quebec City.
3. Photo taken in Montreal(old Montreal). Another old faithful dress but oh so confortable for travelling.
4.Flowerpot Island on the Bruce Peninsula. Although I loved Quebec City this was by far my favorite visit of them all.

I hope to come back tomorrow with more time to see all your posts but this is it for now.

Celia!! You and your daughter are every bit as beautiful as the scenery. I can't tell which outfit I love most. The first dress is fantastic on you! Anything that shows your lovely shoulders is a winner. LOVE!! And the second one is so much fun yet so sophisticated at the same time. Love it with the leggings. The bright colours of the other outfits truly "pop" and I love that in each picture you are modelling for your daughter how to wear a sunhat!

Suz, you uncovered my secret :), yes I do wear more sunhats so that my daughter wears hers. Guess this must be a common trick in the mommy's repertoire.
Actually in 2&3 my hat is white with black polkadots and hers is black with white polkadots.We were much teased by the grandparents who don't spend much time with fabulous us

Oh, the two of you look absolutely fabulous! And it looks and sounds as though your vacation was terrific. I've heard wonderful things about Quebec City. I've never been, but hope to one day.

Ceit, I didn't know you were in Peterborough.Next time, for sure we have to meet.
We were there in our way to Ottawa and stoped for a coffee at a coffeeshop that had Portuguese food like bifanas, it was a happy coincidence. And the locks were amazing, we were watching the process of lifting the boats and were amazed with the enginering involved.

Sarah, Quebec City is everything and more all the good things you heard about it. I recommend a week to visit the city and the surroundings.

Mona, although we traveled a lot we were away from home no more than 4 days at a time so I was always able to program outfits day by day and not bother if everything matched like I would try to do if I was away for longer.But there were certainly things that I was glad to have with me and I will write a post about it.
