Here's an outfit from last week, a warm sunny day in the Seattle area.
Top: Boden. 3/4 sleeve. Blue with black spots.
Bottoms: Uniqlo. Flowy, pleated, with pockets! Navy.
Shoes: Camper. 3 color flats - black heel, plum strap, metallic ink blue front. Weird but fun.
The Boden top was new this summer, my first Boden purchase after seeing the positive reviews on YLF.
The Uniqlo gauchos were a splurge at the after Christmas sales - they were ridiculously inexpensive on sale, but it took me months to get the nerve to wear them. Now I love them.
The Camper shoes were bought to add some blue to my shoe wardrobe and as a flat option wear with my dirndl. They are not as comfortable as other Camper shoes I've bought (sandals and booties) as the toe box is a little tight, so I'm thinking of having them stretched just a little bit to see if that helps.
My usual everyday outfit for chasing my 2 teens is jeans, simple knit top and Ecco sneakers or black halogen loafers, with a topper and scarf. But my weight has fluctuated up, so I'm finding new outfits and trying to find clothes that reflect the me I want to be. Reading the YLF Forum has been so helpful - many thanks to those who post.
(To be honest, this might be my first WIW that I actually uploaded onto the site. I don't know how YLFers do it. It was difficult finding an outfit I felt comfortable in, then getting a decent photo.)
