I was invited to honor and celebrate the work of my breast cancer surgeon, Dr. John Butler, and his colleagues last night and, at first, I started in one colorful direction (saving that for another time), but then opted to wear my Brooks Brothers non-iron white dress shirt with a black stretchy sequined skirt, a black belt and my Donald J. Pliner pumps. I only wore a pair of stud earrings and my watch. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of the white and black coat I wore, but I'll add that to another post next time. I'm standing next to Dr. Butler, the man with the gorgeous white mane.
The other photos (2 and 3) are older photos simply showing close-ups when I wore this same outfit to a concert last year (in those photos I wore a pearl necklace, which seemed like too much this time, and I did a bit of cropping, because I didn't like my hair in these). Thanks for looking. I'm still recuperating from a cold and haven't felt much like posting, but I'm hoping to check in more very soon.
