Hi Fabbers, I went on a lovely bike ride, in the Scottish drizzle, on lovely back roads. The jacket has a high viz reflective stripe down the back, which should hopefully mean I am easier to spot.
And on the way back, I had a great little shop in the only dress shop in Thornhill. I had spied the shoes a couple of days ago, and they were calling me back!
I am so pleased, as I found a pair of Gabor bootees that fit really well and some navy Paul Green shoes (sale) and a lovely navy dress (sale).
The shoes are good news, as the patent ones I wear for work are not comfortable all of the time.
The navy dress will replace a Agnes B navy dress I bought about 4 years ago in a second hand shop. It is worn out, and needs retiring, so to find a replacement is great. It has a small gold detail around the neck, and is slightly bell shaped in the skirt.
I would like to try and find a neat long sleeved t-shirt, striped, to wear under it, but it will work well with a lot of my work wear and actually, with leggings and heels would be good for night out.
I couldn't cycle home with the bag, so my purchases are sitting in the shop until I collect them (when I'm not on my bike).
