WIW Oldies outfit 5 cardigan and wide leg trousers

Today´s oldies outfit consists of a black and green cardigan with some silver threads and silver buttons, bought ca 6 years ago. It is an Italian brand D.Exterior. I wear it with black wide legged trousers, also D.Exterior, also ca 6 years old, Elie Saab blue and green silk scarf, black pattent platform sneakers and a large grey bag. I also added large silver "button" earrings and green sunnies.

Although I am generally not so fond of knitted sweaters (on me), the outfit felt nice, polished and comfartable.

What do you guys think of this outfit?

It's beautiful Katerina! I love the deep teal colour mixed with the black. And a tweed-like vibe which feels a bit Chanelesque?
After 4 oldie outfits I was running out of what I wanted to wear a bit and only managed some 2014 pants yesterday so no photos. Editing has not been assisted since everyone liked my oldie clothes!

Jenni NZ, I know! Your oldies are great! My editing so far is not easy either... I will keep my oldies so far, except perhaps the short blue puffed armed jacket.

Yes, the trousers are pleated, stretch material. It looks bad in this picture, in reality they fall better.

Ah don’t you look pretty!l love your makeup and the outfit is lovely too.l really like the way that thecardigan is shot through with the teal that you ve then picked up in the colours of the scarf.The cardigan has sufficient structure to stop it looking sloppy.An all round winner of a look I d say.

Gorgeous. My favorite colors and the cardigan provides plenty of structure to sub for a blazer. The pleated legs add a fun, interesting twist.

You look absolutely amazing. I realize this is a knit, but I originally thought it was a tweed in the WIWs. Either way, the entire ensemble is fabulous. I love the colors and that scarf is perfect complement.

Love most of the the items in this outfit. Classic elegance. Just a suggestion: How about repacking the light bag with one in blue, green or black or a combination of these colours?

Love, love, love. Those colors look fantastic on you, and your make up is perfect. I agree with Jenni that the cardigan has a Chanel vibe, and it has enough structure, if you had not said it was a cardigan, I would have thought it was a jacket. You have an amazing wardrobe, Katerina.

The greens , blues and texture are so yummy. ( yes, Angie's word came to mind when I saw this outfit. This is stunning! Your green sunglasses frames and, do I detect a hint of green eye makeup? Just beautiful.

I have a top in the D. Exterior brand that I picked up on an overseas trip years ago. It is an oldie for me too but I love it.

The Cat, I agree. A bag in these colours would be better. Unfortunately, both my blue bags and my black satchels have rather distinct gold hardware, so it wasn’t so good with the silver buttons on the cardigan. I would need a green bag. I will try some more with other bags I have - I have smaller black vintage bags that might work. Thank you for the good suggestion.

Brooklyn, your D.Exterior top is lovely. They make very nice knitted items. I used to buy D.Exterior in a little boutique where I live, that carried a few interesting Italian and Danish brands. Unfortunately, the boutique closed down 5 years ago. Real shame.

Not only felt but looked trully nice, polished and comfartable! Think you felt so, because the knitted sweater is a jacket style-besides I love the colors and texture of it! YLmore then F in this! Scarf is really rich and oh my, the pleated pants??? Never seen such a creature but it has to be a trully designer piece.

I love it! I find the silhouette alluring, especially with those wide leg pants. It's very Italian design, for sure, with the frond button and pocket lines. You are right, this jacket is a keeper. I bet it goes with a lot of different things. I like how it drapes on you. It looks like it is made from only the best material.
