This coat is from around 2006/2007. It’s one of those items that I really didn’t know I needed until I got it. It’s what I call a transition coat—perfect for days when it’s going to be 40F in the morning but 60F in the afternoon. I know it’s hard to see because it’s black, but I like that it has a slightly dressy feel, but works great with jeans. This year I bought a replacement, it’s less dressy, but will allow me to save this for one for dressier occasions
The bag is probably from around the same time period. It’s one of those items that some years I don’t use it at all, but then years like this one, I’ve had it back in rotation since early March
