I’ve neglected doing the oldies challenge, until today, though I wanted to. But today I’ve paired some new jeans with a sweater and necklace combo that used to be a fall back for me. The sweater looks a little tight on the arms now, but doesn’t feel it. I think I’m used to less fitted knitwear now.

The jeans are AT. I can recommend these! I wanted to add a couple of trendy but wearable pairs jeans. I don’t like too much distressed hem, etc, but wanted to nod towards it. These fit the bill for me. And they’re comfortable! I suspect this is due to their Lycra “performance stretch.” It’s great for me with my curves and tendency to bloat, but that may turn off some of you who would otherwise be interested in these jeans. They’re definitely my jeans pick for my upcoming weekend away.

With these jeans plus some replacement blue ankle pants I got, my spring shopping is done. I have some thoughts about the freeze I need to do, but no time to type them up now. Suffice it to say, I have ALL the tops, and I need to STOP buying them.

ETA: added today’s outfit. The Old Navy sweater is another relative oldie, as are the Boden flats. The teal pants are newer (oldie pants stopped fitting me two years ago, alas.)
