WIW: Old and new favorites

This thrifted skirt is probably at negative PPW for the years I wore it... Although it seems floofy for me, the leather trim and shape make it both flattering to my IT shape (I think!) and a bit UWP. In trying to update it to my newer style aspirations, I tried it with my Equipment shirt today and a belt with chain on it. And of course, the Danskos that need a substitute...

I like this. I think the length of the skirt is key here. And I actually think those shoes work pretty well with this particular outfit. The color is so vibrant and the blouse and skirt are both quite strong peices so that accessories really are not required.

I like it! This is good for me to see, because I've totally shied away from this skirt shape and toward pencils, because they seem less girly to me. That color of shirt is absolutely gorgeous on you!

This is so you, even with it's girly touches, because you added enough Una edge. Love that skirt! I love the Danskos with this. Wasn't there an Una named shoe out there with studs on it I spied some months ago?

Shabbychick, my old way of wearing this skirt was with a short fitted top, so this is a try at a change. I'm glad it still has some life in it, because it is pretty indestructible and machine washable - it's some kind of woven poly fabric and for a couple of bucks, it has been well worth it!

LOVE! The color is amazing on you. The skirt is unique and fun and just the right length. The two together work for me -- unexpected combo. Also you totally look like a triangle here.
