Thank you all for commenting. I am quite happy that the red tights are getting a thumbs up. I’ve wanted to try the brand for quite awhile--they live up to their reputation of a comfortable waist band!
@Caro: Thank you. I really love this shade of green--I just need to make myself wear it more often.
@Asingh: You made me laugh--I don’t think I’ve ever heard my name and fashionista in the same sentence. It’s a first! Thank you--wait until I tell DD’s! Btw, your outfit posts have inspired me--I want to wear scarves every day.
@Deborah: Thank you! It’s funny but the tartan was my fave and I’m disappointed it didn’t photograph as well as I thought it looked. It does look boxy in the photo--must be my mirror!
@Katiepea: Thank you. I assure you that I’ve seen your legs and they do not look like any kind of stump!
@doulahil: Thank you. I had mixed feelings about the cardi over the dress but it felt the most like me. I will try it with my oxfords--it would give a very boyish vibe. Lol--no heels over here unless they are attached to a boot
@rae: Thanks! I thought #2 was very UWP. I was trying to figure out a way to wear the poncho and not freeze. The solution was to layer my drapey cardigan underneath. It’s one of my favorites and super toasty!
@Ornelia: Thank you but you are MY role model when it comes to polish. I am flattered. Glad you like the poncho. I’m in poncho love these days.
@Nieferen, Ceit, Diane G, Rute, Alicat, texstyle, Susie, MaryK: Thank you!
@Claudia: Thanks! The tights were a whopping $5. I couldn’t resist. Perhaps you can find a pair at the Rack
@Joy: Thank you! The V-neck is a brilliant idea. I hadn’t thought of that. The cowl neck is kind of problematic for me. I love them on their own but find they don’t play well with others.
@CF: Lol, thanks! I think I was just shocked by the color. I had imagined a more subdued leg
@Amy: Thank you. I think you and Deborah may be on to something with the tartan blazer--it could be the length.
@pil: Lol! Thanks, Pil! I fear the red tights may clash with the burgundy in the sweater. I’ll have to try them together. Now that the tights are getting a thumbs up, I’m going to have to figure out some other ways to wear them!
@SaraL: Thanks. I like colored tights too--just more on others. I will definitely try them again now that I’m over the initial shock.
@Angie: Thank you! You are too kind! Thank you for chiming in on the dress toppers. I’ve been struggling with the cowl neck and the overall dress shape which just feels so fitted to me. I think these toppers are a great way to get the dress into rotation.
@RC: Thank you! I’m flattered to be pinned! You weren’t tricked into buying the red tights? Smart chicky! I had sale goggles on for sure. I’m glad they are working out though. I think the KK tunic would be more versatile than the dress--can’t wait to see it in action!
@Tina.b: You and I are both laughing! I couldn’t believe it when I put them on! Thank you!
@cjh: Thanks for the suggestion! I will try it
@rachylou: Thank you. You betcha, I am on the roll call! You picked my favorite pairing. I didn’t think it would pass YLF muster though---it is supremely comfy and really feels like me. Your typing problem sounds funny. You fingers have a mind of their own
@Denise: Thank you! I can’t believe I made it onto YOUR board. You are the queen of cool!
