Hmm, yes, trust you wise ladies to pick out the wardrobe hole! I kept wanting a plain ink or grey or white top with this... which I don't have. We seem to have mislaid a box of my winter things when we moved, which isn't helping! But I have a serious wardrobe hole for winter knits and tees still. White shirts and weaning baby... yeah.
I confess I also wasn't 100% sure if flat colour would feel even more colour-blocky. I mean, objectively it would be fab. But would I feel like a Mondrian more then a Moni? I feel like maybe I am almost using pattern here to 'confuse' the strong colours. Heh. I need to maybe leave this on the wall to enjoy!
Angie picks up another (happy) oddity! Somehow the pants reduce the green in the coat and turn it more decidedly yellow. Very odd. I thought a trick of the light but you see it too. And this while I stand next to a green window, under a green skylight!
Rae, I felt okay. Not super confident, singing-in-the-rain fab. But also not self-conscious and twitchy.
I wonder whether I can wear blush? I suspect not but will keep a lookout. Thanks, Traci. At least a dressing-room test drive sometime. Certainly less colour-blocky. Though might be too much top-to-toe warm tones for retiring me!
