As I love leather and suede jackets, I could not resist this wardrobe find. It is a light olive ? (what would you call this green colour?) suede jacket made by a German brand Werner Christ. I found it on deep discount and just love the soft lux texture and the unusual color.
To go with this jacket, I purchased an olive green long knitted pencil skirt from Lindex. This skirt was on sale and it was very inexpensive. It is a bit of a style departure for me since I rarely wear skirts, and especially not knitted ones. But I liked the idea of a tonal green outfit in light shades of olive and wanted to try the style with an inexpensive item.
Yesterday, I wore the jacket with the skirt to work. I styled the outfit with a navy blouse, navy tights and navy chunky oxfords. Navy large bag. I added a light acid green silk scarf to enhance the tonal feel.
The outfit felt very comfortable and I felt put together, quite polished but still relaxed. Also got a compliment from a colleague.
What do you think of my purchases and styling? Any styling ideas for the jacket?
