Thanks, everyone! You are all such pals. I guess this is a different, more welcoming crowd regarding the silver shoes! My SO should be taking lessons from all of you :). Glad the neon is getting some love too.
Zap, these pants are very vivid cobalt IRL. I would think that magenta and cobalt would look fab! Go for it, then post a pic!
Una, yes I totally remember your gorgeous oxfords! Yours are more of a gunmetal metallic, right? I was sort of hoping mine would turn out darker, but they are super-bright!
Rae, I should have mentioned that your DIY dye posts gave me the confidence I needed to go through with dyeing these! You made it look so easy and effortless :).
Thanks, Isis! Glad you like the neon and the "new" shoes.
Thanks, Jules. I am definitely feeling the slouchy thing right now, for sure! Thanks so much for the compliment about the prints--that is so nice.
Thanks, Diana!
Thanks, Vicki! Love your idea of performing a little tap dance while singing some Elton John, for the SO :). The booties are by Cheap Monday (see pic). The heel is around 2 inches; they were sold on revolveclothing.com and urbanoutfitters.com. They are sooo comfy; I am resisting the urge to wear them with everything!
Helen, thanks for the shoes love!
Mona, thanks! Glad to see a thumbs up for #1. Not something I would have worn even a year ago, but I've totally jumped on board the Color Express.
Christieanne, thanks for your comment about the slouchy + structure...that combo really appeals to me right now, I guess.
Anna, thanks! Nice to see you are digging the neon ones. I'm sorry about your dismal spring weather :(. Can't wait to see your peep-toe combat boots in action!
ETA: Thanks, Marianna!!
