I'm new-ish here! I was on this forum around 2008, and now I'm back. I'm so glad to see that this site and Angie are still going strong!
Lately I've been feeling very frumpy and unkempt. As a plus-sized woman, I've struggled with spending money on clothes at this size, because I intend to lose weight (seems like a waste to me) and am making positive changes to make that happen. After reading some of Angie's posts, I realize that part of feeling good is wearing things that bring me joy and make me light up, not just being a specific weight. ding ding!
I had a gift card to Macy's, so I spent a good amount of time browsing their plus size selection (which is huge! I am so excited!). I bought this pair of purple skinny jeans and a pair of black skinny jeans. Purple is my favorite color so how would I resist?!
I don't think I can post pics yet, so I'm adding a link to a new pinterest board I made with my outfit for today. I rolled up the cuffs of the pants because they sit at the ankle bone and I like the shorter hem. The shirt is Merona (Target) and the duster is Massimo (Target). Shoes are Croft&Barrow. Wearing both necklaces was a last minute decision because I couldn't decide which one I wanted to wear! Short flower one is New York & Company and the long one I found at Michael's, of all places!
I feel pulled together and artsy in this outfit. I'm ready to have a fantastic day!
