WIW New Faux Leather Skirt

Dear Fabbers,
I bought this new faux leather skirt on final sale totally on a whim.
This outfit I wore today (no 3) and no 1-2 are tests for next week.
I think it would be better to wear black opaque tights instead of the sheer....

No 1: the skirt with a grey wool jacket, classic silk scarf and high heel platform boots.
No 2: same combo as no 1 and added a wool scarf and a matching bag.
No 3: the skirt with a cardigan, silk scarf and matching bag, this time medium heel Chelsea boots.

What do you think about my new skirt? Honest feedback and styling ideas much appreciated.

So sharp! I really like the way the softness of the sweater and scarf in #3 play against the toughness of the skirt.
It would be fun to try the opaque tights just to see that effect.

It is a super skirt and I too like it with the jumper in 3 especially. I think it looks good with sheer tights, but I always veer to opaques!

Love these all - I am very drawn to 2, with the burgundy accents - and that purse! Is that a double scarf combo or a shirt peeking under the burgundy scarf?

Do you have any tall boots? Maybe in a suede or a color to mix up textures. I love a midi with tall boots (probably because I don't own either and must enjoy from a distance).

Thank you Karen13. No 2 is a double scarf combo. I wear a black blouse there with the same pink scarf as in No 1, only folded in another way showing more of the grey parts and tucked in. I agree, tall boots would be great. Unfortunately, I only have a black leather pair (not suede), similar texture as the skirt, or brown.... suede would be nice here. Thank you for the great ideas.

Wow, great skirt! Love it on you. Love the pink scarf too, and this bring me to another subject:

Katerina, you who have such a gorgeous way with scarves, perhaps you could write a blog post on how you choose a scarf for an outfit and how you wear/arrange the scarf? Do you start with the bottom, top or topper, or do you sometimes start by picking the scarf? Do you prefer to match your scarf to other items? And how would you describe your favourite ways to arrange a scarf?--That would be interesting and inspirational, I'm sure. (If you've already written such a post, I am sorry to have missed it.)

I am just a happy amateur, but I love scarves and have collected them pretty much during my entire adult life. Although I have edited from time to time, I still have a vast collection. I would be happy to write a post about my scarves and how I collect them, choose them and use them. I will try to write the post during the next week. I have to give it some thoughts and prepare a bit.

I love this skirt on you, it is so nice to see you add a skirt into your wardrobe that works as well as your trousers. All outfits are beautiful, but I especially like the softness of the knitted jacket in #3 with the more hard edge style of this skirt.

Bijou, I don´t add skirts so often. This shape is also quite new to me, the few skirts I wear are all pencil skirts. Feels unusual with an A-line midi - still figuring out how to combine it with toppers, not so easy to get the proportions right.

Fabulous - perfect for your style. I like the sheer tights ... I think it shows off the detail of the skirt better (opaque might blend to much). I especially love the burgundy accents but I'm biased as that's one of my fave colors
