I so enjoyed Kari's summer post and how masterfully she curates the color in her wardrobe. As much as I love color, it doesn't get much wear. I gravitate towards neutrals day in and day out and not just at work--on the weekends too. I'm wearing the heck out of my linen truckers. I shouldn't have duplicated in blue but who knew at the time--the white and light pink get the most wear.

My birthday month is past but I picked up a few things just for fun. (It was much needed retail therapy.) The Gap Factory dress is so awesome - a great linen blend that is so forgiving for my post menopause body! The fabric has enough body that it doesn't require a bra (at least when not at work.) It's not a forever piece but will work for summer and transitional weather with a topper. Maybe by then my shape will have stabilized along with the widening of my feet! I'm not going to do any more closet purging (because frankly, it's depressing.) For now, I'm just wearing what I can and will make final decisions next year when I'm in a better state of mind.

DD's and I went to the beach last month - we skipped last year for some reason. Oreo just had a dental so she's missed two years in a row What a glorious day it was! Blue sky, perfect temps and not too crowded. Athleta almost head to toe with last year's NAS purchase - the floral bag/pack!

Here are a few last nods to summer. Thanks for looking!

Photo 7 is one of the 3 tractors at the ranch my dad is trying to sell. Is that where I get my duplication problem from? Why have one when you can have more... Ugh...
