WIW: Navy out! AT goes to work

Wore my AT vest thingie to work today... paired with my J Crew linen tee, BR Martin cut trousers, and navy Franco Sarto booties. Threw on a long necklace to break up all the navy.

What do you think? Any and all suggestions welcome, for improrving this, or suggestions for the future.

Gorgeous. You wear navy so well! I especially love how the silver of the long necklace contrasts with the blue and matches your hair. (is it Ippolita by chance? Or Silpada? I was looking at similar necklaces a while back).

While I think this is perfectly lovely as is I wonder what untucking and leaving off the belt would look like?

This particular shirt looked a bit sloppy untucked, but I think that trying a different one untucked is definitely a good idea.

This is stunning on you, Elizabeth! Wow! I am wishing I had ordered that vest while it was available. I thought I would be too short for it. You wear the navy-out so, so well -- it's brighter and softer than black and just brings your complexion completely to life. Brilliant!!

ya know, it's hard to say how this vest would fit you. It's a pretty substantial and you're so tiny. It certainly might work, but don't kick yourself TOO hard...

Thank you Windchime and Shevia. It's so great to finally have navy in stores! I've always liked it, but it's often really hard to find. And as a result, I've often grabbed "less than 10's", esp with shoes. A habit I still seem to need to work on breaking...

I wonder about leaving off the bracelet and watch to create a long line of skin on the arm to balance the ong vest. I'm thinking that the watch and bracelet cut the arm line. Just a thought.

Elizabeth, the navy is gorgeous on you. I like so many elements of this outfit from the column of color to the shine of the belt to the accessories but the whole package is fab.
