WIW: Navy + caramel

Off to do a few errands on a dull Saturday morning which may just involve a quick look at a favourite op (thrift) shop!
Coincidentally I'm top to toe thrifted today (except for the sunglasses, tote + underwear!!)

Lapis lazuli earrings
Eileen Fisher merino wool top
Old Navy coated skinny jeans
Cole Haan brogues
Otto Mode trench

I like the creative aspect of throwing together thrift shop finds at different price points with other items in my wardrobe.
Interestingly the 3 US brands are not commonly known or sold here in Australia - and very occasionally they may appear in op shops.

Not sure if the caramel trench is a colour that overly suits me - maybe just flattering enough.

I absolutely think the trenchcoat looks good with your complexion and hair colour. Great combo with the navy (which on my screen looks like black). Fun, interesting.shoes with yellow details. A really fab outfit of thrifted items! And what is more, you actually look expensive.
Creativity is a wonderful part of dressing. I, too, enjoy "playing around" with thrifted items and creating "new" outfits.

Wow! I think you look great! I admire your ability to hunt down items that suit your size, style and coloring. I have tried to hunt in thrift shops many times but leave empty handed. Maybe it's where I live? I may need to try looking in a bigger city.

I think this might be called a minimalist look. I think you've hit all the right notes with it.
I love the colour of this trench and the fact that there's no belt. Sometimes they are quite pale beige but this is a nice deep colour. Also, a belt always seem a bit fussy to me, but that might be my bias since I don't think I have enough of a waist around which to wrap a belt.

I think the colour looks good on you.
