WIW navy and white

I got this navy and white knit jacket at JCrew back in the summer and this is the first I've worn it. It's very comfortable, as are the navy knit jeans. And I find these navy boots as comfortable as Angie has said she does. So glad I got them. Thanks, Angie!

The belt is a blue- gray snake pattern, also from JCrew.

Is the neckline of the tee ok with the jacket? I considered a red top too.

I think you look lovely and refined... a very nice modern-classic outfit. The pointy toed boots are awesome. I'm no expert, but I think the T-top neckline is just fine with the jacket. I like the pop of white with the more subdued navy tones, but red would also be fab.

I'm glad you chose a white shirt for underneath. While red would look great, it would definitely give a 'nautical' look to the outfit. Not that there's ANYTHING wrong with nautical, I think the white is a much better choice for the season

This is a very pretty outfit - and I can't believe how the pointy-toed boots give it a real boost of current and moderness (is that a word?) I'm curious if you tried a structured/woven top with the jacket? I'd just like to see how that looked - I think the juxtaposition of the knit with the woven would be cool! Thanks for posting! (Also, I think you could pair any color of top with this jacket and pants - teal, turquoise, any shade of green, purple, yellow, orange, etc.) - so fun to play with the color combinations!

Oh, I like this whole outfit, as is, on you. I like the simplicity of the white under the jacket with the navy pants. You could also wear a color, but this look is fresh. I like the neckline with the jacket. Collarless jackets are my favorite to wear, and I've found they work well with a lot of different necklines under them.
