It was rainy and cold here in CNY this morning. It was perfect weather to start testing out more of my fall capsule. I pulled out my NAS Aquatalia Boots, a J Crew merino turtle neck sweater in green (my favorite color), my J Crew toothpick jeans, and a scarf that I also bought at Nordstrom in Philadelphia several years ago. I decided that my fall leaf earrings would pair well with the scarf. I have no idea where they came from, but I like them. The belt is one of those with a reversible buckle. It is alligator on one side and smooth leather on the other, both sides are brown.
The boots did their job in the rain. My feet were dry, and I love the way they fit- no pinching or rubbing. Narrow calf on these, and they didn't sag or bag at all.
This is my fall/Winter uniform. I'm happy with how I felt and looked. I could wear a version of this look everyday all fall and winter long and be happy, but is it stylish? You can let me know?
