Nemo’s mom, thank you. I have a large and varied wardrobe for the outdoors. I’ve frozen so many times.
Bj1111, I saw the quicksand story on the news. I didn’t know that was a real thing. We used to live in a ski area, so I’ve had Sorels for ages. These have a nice grippy sole and, of course, are warm. And they’re grey. I still have my ancient white snow bunny pair, but the soles were wearing out.
Sara, thank you. I don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse having a Patagonia outlet nearby. But I have quite a lot of their stuff. Last time we went to the store, we wore 25 YO jackets to show the SAs how good the quality is. BTW, I don’t think of you as having dogs, only your cat Domino.
Sal, thank you. This winter (really, just February) has been quite a change from the drought we’ve had for the past I don’t know how many years. On the news they interviewed a local snow plow driver and he said we’ve had nine storms since the beginning of the year. And there’s another one forecast for this evening.
Angie, thank you. I bought the ice blue jacket because I loved the color, and a nanopuff is part of the local uniform. Mr Skunky is definitely a rascal.
Ms Maven, thank you. It looks like a sweater on the outside, but is fleece on the inside - very cozy.
