Popping back in after football Thanks for all of the nice comments--they cheered me up! I don’t really even watch football but I was disappointed for the home team nonetheless.
@Adelfa, Ornella, Shevia, Jayne, Merwoman, pil, Tina.b, CF, Isis, Suz, Brenda, Makrame and Kiwichik : Thank you. I think #1 was my fave of the lot--it felt slightly rugged and very me. I’m glad the pieces work in 6. I knit the cowl to “go” with the booties--I was struggling with them folded down. Helps to have some of the lighter color up top to balance the boot cuffs.
@Katiepea: Thank you. I’m glad the denim fans approve
@Jjsloane: Thank you. Happy that 4 works as is too--sometimes I just like plain and simple. I must look into some better long sleeve tees--these Merona ones keep getting shorter and shorter. OMG, aren’t fleece lined tights awesome? I couldn’t believe how warm they were! There’s just no reason NOT to wear a dress in the winter.
@Ceit: Thank you. I am really happy that you like the cowl in 1. It is a Purl Soho free pattern--the shape is amazing and so fun to wear! I feel like a bandit!
@TS: Thank you for inspiring me to get dressed every day. I am always inspired by the consistently fab outfits that you and MaryK always manage!
@Denise: LOL! Thanks--I could do a year in denim with you! Although you would do it much more stylishly!
@Angie: Thank you! I love my new crown! I hope infinity scarves never go out of style!
@Cathy: Thanks! The dress is Converse from Target. I picked it up last year. It’s like a long lightweight sweatshirt with a bit of shaping. It’s the perfect fit for me--hides a multitude of sins (requires no shapewear!)
@amiable: Thank you. My style descriptor is Neat UWP I like a little bit of rugged with a little bit of polish and lots of casual
