WIW: my rendition of burgundy, orange and (not quite) white

I'm kind of late on this wagon, but will post the outfit anyway, because I really like burgundy/orange combination - thanks Angie!
Unfortunately, all my white items are much more summery than weather permits (we are still at around freezing point in the morning), but I picked the lightest pair of pants that is weather appropriate. I do agree it would look much more interesting/crispier with true white.
Jeans - Ralph Lauren
Top - Loft
Coat - Vince Camuto
Shoes - Born
Jewelry - Zulily (don't remember the brand)
Bag - Franco Sarto
Any comments/suggestions on how to improve are welcome!

I think the colors do work very well together and orange looks like a great color on you.:)

Since there are many layers, my tendency (as a minimalist) might be to try breaking them into different outfits. Just brainstorming I'd maybe:

-wear the pants with flats or sandals and the coral belt (love it) and the orange top with no jacket on a warm day. Or maybe with the coat on a cooler day.

-wear the jacket over a column of taupe/tan or with white pants as you mentioned. I think it works with the orange top as well (or with the necklace). It fights a little with the brightness of the coral belt to my eye.

Lovely rendition, orange looks wonderful on you. I think ti will look even better when the weather allows you white bottoms.
