Hi ladies, I've been quite silent on YLF for the past few weeks. I had my big exam that I was so stressed about and the last week or so I've been in recovery after all that worry - i.e. no studying! just classes, sketching, and a bit of reading.
About a month a go, I got the urge to cut my hair and I asked you ladies about it. Thanks again for your sweet comments and advice! I did get it cut to about chin length, a very classic bob with few layers. At the moment, it doesn't really have a fringe/bangs, but I may change that in the next few weeks. I love having shorter hair - it's so easy, it dries so quickly, and it's a treat not to have to tie it back in a pony tail every day.
This weekend I was in a trousers type of mood (I'm normally a dress gal!). Outfit 1: high waisted skinny jeans, crop top, green cardigan, scarf and pointed slip on shoes. I went to my first ever art class so I wanted to look the part.
Outfit 2: I was doing a tutorial for some students in the year below and wanted to wear something comfy but still fun. It finally feels like spring, so I thought the cropped trousers would be good. They have a subtle polka dot pattern which I love. As a pear shape, I find the really loud patterns trickier to wear - too much emphasis on the thigh area!
Both outfits: Since it was fairly warm (10-13C), I decided to wear my light trench coat. Then a scarf and some red leather gloves as well as my blue backpack. My main mode of transportation is cycling so what I wear has to be practical enough to get on an off a bike easily! haha.
Bonus pic - Jesus College in the spring. Daffodils are everywhere!
