Last week I decided I needed to make an effort to start taking daily WIW pics. It's such a helpful exercise in so many ways!

What struck me about this week's wardrobe was how very monochromatic it was! I'm definitely at my happiest when in shades of black, grey and white.

Apologies for the poor pic quality - the winter light is not the best in my bedroom in the mornings and I haven't wanted to spend ages trying to get the pics right.

Without further ado:

#1 Pattern mixing for beginners - my maxi skirt and high low jersey knit top with boots and a cotton floral scarf.

#2 & 3 This was my wild card buy for the season. I am not really into animal print but I bought this one and loved it. I wore a soft cardigan whilst outdoors. For footwear, I wore my ankle biker boots with opaque tights.

#4 I love this skirt so! Worn with sheer stockings and my witchy shoes and a top similar to the one in #1 (the only difference is one has a faux leather trim around the the neck and the other doesn't.

#5 This skirt is an odd mix of dark grey and khaki - it's a heavy and busy skirt but I love how swishy it's layers are.

#6 Ink blue jeans and a slouchy jersey for casual Friday. It was feeling quite Spring-like yesterday so I braves un-stockinged feet. I actually decided after taking the pic to roll the hems on the jeans slightly to add a bit of Spring to my day - silly yes, but bared ankles made me happy

#7 Today's Saturday run around outfit. This jersey is a actually far to big for me and I'm battling to make it work. I wore it with yesterday's ink blue jeans and red chucks.

And there you have it...my week in black and white and shades of grey.

Thanks for looking - all feedback welcome!

xx
