WIW: my first ever

I wore this out to a casual dinner with my boyfriend, literally put it together in 5 minutes or less.

Levi's skinny jeans
Target long-sleeve t-shirt
Brown palladium loafers
Scarf from DSW

In my opinion the shirt is too tight and the jeans are too loose. Thoughts?

Congrats on your first WIW! I think your jeans fit perfectly. The top looks a little tight to me, but the scarf hides that. A blazer or moto jacket would look great with your outfit.

Congrats for your first WIW! The jeans look great to me, and I really like your shiny loafers. I think I'd prefer this particular tee as a layering top, though as Karie said the scarf works very well here; I have a really similar one that I like to wear under cropped sweaters or under a jacket. Hope you guys had a delicious dinner

That's a great casual outfit. The jeans don't look too loose at all to me.
As Karie and Aida said, any issues with the top could be remedied by layering a jacket over it. I like your how you wore you scarf!

Welcome to the wonderful WIW I think the jeans are fine -- the top is a bit tight but would work as a layering piece, and in any event your scarf is great to fix it.

Great first WIW! You look terrific in those colors, and I love how the scarf turns your outfit into something special. Well done! I agree the jeans look like a perfect fit. The top looks like a snug fit, but it doesn't look too small. So the question is comfort in both cases.

Welcome Liz, and congrats on your first WIW. The jeans are not too big at all, the fit is actually perfect. The tee is a bit on the tight side, but it would function great as an under layer.

The jeans are great. I think what's up with the tee is that it's clingy. I'll bet you'd have the same wrinkles even with a different size.
